To publish a new article, simply add a new <item>. You can also remove old items if you want to keep your feed "clean".
Before making it available to the public you should validate it, to ensure there are no errors in it. A good website to do this is at www.feedvalidator.org. Their validator will also give suggestions to fix any errors. Just enter the URL to your feed and it will analyze it for you.

to your webpages so people can subscribe to your feed. Link it to the .xml file for your feed (which could also be a .rss or .rdf file extension).
